PRODUCT OVERVIEW

PIPE STAND - DOUBLE

Longer pipe sections benefit from support at two points rather than one, keeping the joint steady and preventing the sag or shift that can throw off alignment on extended runs. Technical Pipeline's Pipe Stand-Double is built as a single welded, mechanically joined unit — two of our standard adjustable support columns connected by a rigid frame — rather than two separate stands positioned side by side. Each of the two support points covers 1" to 24" (33.4-600 mm) and is rated for a working load of 1 or 2.2 tons, selectable to match the actual pipe weight. Four bearing surface options — V-bed metal, V-bed stainless steel, V-bed polyurethane rollers, or V-bed steel rollers — let crews choose the contact surface best suited to the pipe's coating and material, with the roller options also allowing the supported pipe to be rotated for all-position access during welding. Both support heads remain independently height-adjustable within the welded frame, so the unit can be leveled and set to the working height needed for the job.
