Chain Pipe Welding Clamp

Beyond a certain diameter, bridge and cage clamps stop being practical — that's where Technical Pipeline's Chain Pipe Welding Clamp takes over. A flexible chain wraps fully around the pipe, letting one clamp cover a wide range of large diameters instead of requiring a different fixed-size clamp for every joint, while a screw-driven chain pressure plate applies targeted force to align — and where needed, reform — the pipe before welding. A jackbar count that scales with model size — from 10 jackbars on the smallest model up to 66 on the largest — keeps clamping force evenly distributed around the full chain length, even on the largest diameters. The range is available in fifteen standard models, each with a fixed 10" (273 mm) minimum and an increasing maximum from 36" up to 240" (6096 mm), together covering the full 10" to 240" range, with a recommended wall thickness of 1-19 mm across the range. Its heavy-duty chain and jackbar construction is built to remain clamped in place on the pipeline for extended periods during installation whenever the work sequence requires it. Because the clamp remains in place around the joint, tees, elbows, and flanges can be aligned and welded without removal, and the design accommodates stainless steel as well as carbon steel pipe.
