Pipe Roller Cradle

During stringing, lay-down, and pipeline crossings, pipe needs to roll freely without ever putting concentrated pressure on its coated surface. Technical Pipeline's Roller Cradle does exactly that a multi-roller support that cradles the pipe and lets it move smoothly along its length while distributing the load evenly across the coating. The range covers five diameter bands from 6" to 60" (168.3-1524 mm), each available in a Single or Double head-iron configuration. The double configuration roughly doubles both the roller count and the working load capacity of the single version at the same diameter band, letting crews choose the support level a given pipe weight and coating sensitivity calls for. Working load ranges from approximately 6,000 kg on the smallest single-configuration model up to 52,000 kg on the largest double-configuration model, with roller counts sized to each band's manufacturing design occasionally using a design with fewer, larger rollers at a given band rather than simply adding more of the same roller, which is why roller count does not always rise in lockstep with diameter.
