Internal Line-Up Clamps
Precision Internal Alignment for Pipeline Welding
Where external clamps hold pipe from the outside, Technical Pipeline’s Internal Line-Up Clamps work from within the pipe itself — expanding against the internal wall to bring two pipe ends into true, concentric alignment before welding.

Weld Area
Because the clamp sits inside the joint, the outer weld area is left completely unobstructed, giving welders full access for manual or mechanized root pass welding without interruption.
Internal line-up clamps are the standard choice on mainline pipeline construction, where consistent internal alignment, root gap control, and out-of-round correction directly determine weld quality across hundreds or thousands of joints.
Umbrella opener mechanism
All three families use the same radially expanding “umbrella opener” shoe mechanism, with the number of clamping shoes scaling by model size for even internal pressure.
